Herbert Hoover Dike Rehab S276 & S277

This project is for the United States Army Corps of Engineers and it includes demolition of existing culverts 3 and 4A, reconstruction of new structures S-276 (C-4A) and S-277 (C-3), including cut-off walls at both culvert locations, placement of new cast-in-place reinforced concrete headwalls, foundations, and water control structures with gates and control systems.

Van Linda Iron Works role in this project is to provide and install the new water control gates as well as the emergency bulkheads, manatee screens, and all related miscellaneous & embedded metals including traffic rails, pedistrian rails, operating platforms, access ladders, ships ladders, embedded stainless steel ladders, horizontal safety lines with tie down points, stilling wells, etc.

The work shall be located along Herbert Hoover Dike in Palm Beach County, Florida along U.S. 27 between Belle Glade and Clewiston, Florida.
